West India Chemical (Parent Company of Keerti Fertilizers & Chemicals), engaged in the manufacturing of ISI marked Zinc Sulphate, was established in 1974 & is a pioneer in Zinc Sulphate in India.

Till 1997, we were supplying technical grade Zinc Sulphate to industries like Grasim Industries - Nagda, Grasim Industries - Harihar, IPCL - Baroda, Hindustan Zinc Ltd. - Udaipur etc.

We had monopoly in technical grade Zinc Sulphate. We were also manufacturing agriculture grade Zinc Sulphate to cater to the needs of farmers. In 1997, due to ban on import of raw material Zinc Ash/Brass Ash there was an acute shortage of good quality Zinc Ash so we had to shift from technical grade & divert our production to agriculture grade.

We are operating in 7-8 states including Rajasthan, Punjab, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh etc. and have a team of dedicated field force to promote the use of Zinc Sulphate among the farmers.

It was observed by the field force that macro-fertilization was practiced widely & there is not much awareness about micro nutrients among farmers. In response to the demand and pressure from the field force and farmers company decided to provide micronutrients and other agro inputs to the farmers through its sister concern Keerti Fertilizers & Chemicals.

Keerti fertilizers & Chemicals was established in 2001 with a view to provide quality agro inputs to the farmers (initially in Rajasthan).

In short span of time Keerti Fertilizers & Chemicals has become brand leaders in many Agro Inputs in Rajasthan. Keerti Zinc (Zinc Sulphate Heptahydrate) and Keerti Sukhsma Tatva (Mixture of Micronutrients) are the leading and most selling brands in Rajasthan.
